i will, i will get the flexibility i had 3 years ago. i will i will!! im just a little rusty, thats all. 3 years ago, i could do the splits with both left and right legs no prob, but now, it hurts. i could still do it okay with my right leg, but doing the splits with my left leg is just pain and more pain!! ugh ugh. and u wont believe wat doing the bridge for 5 minutes does to u! my spine is aching right now, im not even sure whether it'll heal. my arms are numb and so are my legs. the bridge really is hard to do when i comes to staying in that position for 5 minutes. u should try it someday.
no matter what, im going to gain my flexibility back, no matter wat. i was proud of my ability in grade 4, but i stopped in grades 5,6, and 7. now, its payback time. i'll have to work harder than ever during the winter vacation.
ever since i started going to laurier, ive been getting less flexible by the day. does the theory of "equivalent trade" exist in the world? cause im convinced it is. i traded my ablility to do gymnastics for the ability to play the violin. perhaps running has something to do with it too. in grade 6, i was soo good at running, but now, im only a tiny bit above average. ahh!!! im planning to do more gymnastics during the winter vacation. i am. heres wat im gonna do to get my flexibility back:
Bridge: do the bridge for 4 minutes each day
Left Split: do this 5 minutes each day
Right Split: do this 5 minutes each day
Hand stand against wall: do this 5 minutes each day
Head stand: 5 minutes each day

and when i can do the left and right split perfectly without my legs hurting, i'll start practicing for the front split (i dont noe the formal name). although many ppl find the front split much easier than left and right splits, i find it much harder.
i also want to do some muscle stretches such as crunches and pushups over the holiday, so this is wat im planning:
20 pushups each day (make sure to go all the way down)
30 crunches
2 minutes of table top
and ill be a bit healthier in no time! though it takes time...

hmm..do you mean you do 5 mins straight or 5 mins broken into 5 segments of one minute or smthing cuz isnt that much easier? And i realyl doubt you need to do anything for 5 mins and sustain it...i think itll probably be really easy and graceful stuff cuz teachers noe most ppl cant to the splits so I dont think theyll make us do that much.

ah well, im gonna "show off" and i still want to be flexible. i mean, i was proud of my flexibility, its not as if i wanna get a better PE mark that badly. and i can do these things 5 minutes straight.
