WHOOT BLOG NUMBE 50. thats a rather large number.
i should send these blogs to mr olson now. i dont remember my last blog send. should send it to him everyday.
my piano lesson went relatively well today. gotta play more scales, memorize more. i think i am able to pass the test in june. theres still exactly 60 days left. i'll play around 1.5 hours each day.
hmm
mr martin talked to us about the camping trip that he's planning! we're leaning VERY HEAVILY towards the 2-3 day one. it costs 180 dollars, and its after school ends, but HEY, i dont care. i love camping trips. tho it is a few days before my piano exam. i think i talk about it everyday now. WHY IS PIANO SO STRESSFUL? if i were taking violin lessons, i think i would collapse. geez...why wont my mom let me quit chinese?? i suck at chinese. i have no talent in chinese. its just...IMPOSSIBLE. i know i know its important, but it really seems that i havent improved in 3 years! cant remember a single character for more than a week. actually, after i learned a new word, after around 2 days, its gone out of my head. as they say in chinese, through one ear, other the other. or, in my case, through one eye and out the other. im just not DIGESTING it.

today is a day 2. we're learning tangent, cosine, and sine. arrgh trig. actually i dont find it hard. i just couldnt figure out the different between angle of elevation and depression. mr stuart never told us! i had to figure it out all by myself. teachers are there to teach us stuff, not make us figure it out when i could've saved us so much time! hey!

i love i love i love gone with the wind. i even borrowed the book. and i am determined to finish the book. its very long though. extremely extremely long.
and i wished there was a sequel. unfortunately, margaret mitchell didnt want to write a sequel, no matter the amount of protest. this sucks. another guy wrote the sequel instead. it was called "Scarlett". the plot was okay, but when i read about it on wikipedia, it still didnt feel the same. actually, if i thought that margaret mitchell had written it, i would have been excited like a chicken. unfortunately, its not. margaret mitchell just had to die. DAMN DEATH. hummph

my favourite is the one about...his rash. well, actually, i'll tell u the story:
One day, while he was playing beach soccer with his friends at the beach, he came home with a rash that itched all over his body. he asked his mom for help. his mom, being the kind tradition chinese lady, told him to rub ice all over his body. so, he did. it helped the itching, for 10 minutes. then it started itching all over again. once again he asked his mom for help. his mom said to rub fruit over his body. she gave him a piece of cantelope, and he obeyed. he was desperate at the time. well, the cantelope didn't help. his skin started itching in 5 minutes. he asked his mother again for help. this time, he asked her for REAL medication, not old chinese remedies. she gave him anti-fungal powder. he told his mom what it was, and his mom started rummaging in the medicine cupboard again. then, in prob 1 hour, she ran to him, excited, telling him that she's found the perfect medication. well, he asked his mom, can she give it to him? she handed it to him. it said "VAGINAL CREAM" on the tube. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. well, i think he ended up rummaging in his cupboard himself.
anyways, i thought it was THE MOST HILARIOUS STORY ive ever heard. actually, i shouldnt have told it to u. u should i watched it. heres the link:

today was the sun run. im actually pretty happy with my time. we (karen, anne, and i) ran 3.5/10 of the sun run, and got 40 minutes faster than our last year's time. what's more, this year, we're actually less tired. last year, after walking 2 hours, we sat on the floor of the GM place cuz our legs gave out under us. this year, we felt...normal. we even went to subway first before we got home. that's extra walking. last year, we didnt feel AT ALL like extra walking.
remember yesterday, i said that i needed to finish 3/4 of my science travel booklet? well, guess what i did right after i got home (at 2 oclock)? i watched GONE WITH THE WIND!!! ooh that is exactly the same as doing my science travel booklet. NOT. well, it was good though. really good. i love gone with the wind. i would marry it if i could lol. not really. karen likes to make that joke. when i say i love something, she asks me whether i would like to marry it.
gone with the wind...lalalalalalala i love the song. theres tara's theme (google it) that has a really nice, smooth, calming melody. nothing can compare to it.
oh and i DID get 3/4ths of my science travel brochure even after watching so much tv. see how much i finished this week? its amazing, isnt it? its amazing how much u can do when you're not reading fanfiction or watching kevjumba / nigahiga on youtube.

i took my chinese exam today. it was quite an easy test, but...i did worse than everyone else. really. i am 100% sure i lack some kind of language skill. i feel linguistally retarded.
but...i have a piano lesson after this. i had to reschedule my piano lesson to tonight becuz of the dinner and movie last night. im not saying that i regret it. its just that this week is going to be ONE HECK OF A BUSY ONE.
well, as i recall saying, i had dinner and movie at oakridge from 4-9 (karen and i got there at 4 oclock and ate before going to white spot. i was too hungry to wait for 5:30, so i bought jelly doughnuts from safeway.) this left no time for homework whatsoever
on saturday, i had french school, studied for chinese exam after french school till the start of chinese school at 3 oclock, went to chinese school from 3 to 6 oclock, practiced piano from 6 to 7, then had piano lesson from 7 to 8. its THREE; I REPEAT THREE lessons in one day.french school - 2 hours; chinese school - 3 hours; piano lesson - 1 hour. huumph. no one can say their life is busing than theirs.
oh and tomorrow, im gonna do the sun run with karen and anne, and do at least 3/4ths of my science travel booklet. that is actually a lot of work, since i haven't started on it at all.

hmm i watched another movie today. an affair to remember. its very old, but its rated one of the top 5 romance movies. #1 being casablanca, #2 being titanic, #3 wuthering heights #4 an affair to remember #5 gone with the wind. if i were in charge of that list, i would put #1 gone with the wind, #2 titanic, #3 casablanca, #4 wuthering heights, and #5 affair to remember. affair to remember wasnt that good. i think ghost (which is in #10) could beat it easily. what was so good about an affair to remember? it was the typical story. girl (who is taken) means guy. they fall in love within the 3 or 4 days that they spend on a cruise ship. girl goes back to her original guy. after 6 months, they decide to meet, cuz girl decides to ditch her original boyfriend. girl is stopped from going to meeting place because of an accident. guy becomes crestfallen. a few months later, they meet coincidentally in an opera. guy find girl to satify his curiosity. they get together. the end. i actually think its quite boring.

gotta study for year-end test soon. for science, anyways. i think i forgot basically EVERYTHING.
i can believe grade 9 is ending already. it seems just a month ago that summer was ending and school was just starting. woah time goes by fast. but it's not cuz im having fun. its just that i grow up too quickly. years go my much slower when ure a child. i can distincly remember what happened in grade 5 and what happened in grade 4, but i tend to blend my grade 6 and 7 years together. i also tend to blend last year into this year, somewhat.

today, i actually analysed the word "Trust" and what it entails.
Trust actually is not a wholly good thing. it can leave you feeling deceived, betrayed. yet, we cannot live without it. without trust, u cannot cooperate with other people. u'll have to do everything on your own. actually, u won't be able to do anything. when you buy a computer, per say, u might think that the sales person is selling u a faulty computer with a hard drive missing. or if u want to go to an interview for a job, u might think that the interviewer is making up everything he says and actually would pay u half of what ur salary is supposed to be. and ecetra.

I was watching the Tyra Show today. basically, a 24-inch woman gave birth to an 18-inch baby girl. oooofff that's gotta be something. well, it turns out she didn't do it the natural way. cross section. I DO NOT WANT A CROSS SECTION WHEN I GO INTO LABOUR. that would me one huge HUGE scar across my stomache. uurrrghhh. i shudder at the thought. i already have more scars than normal people. well, maybe not, but i already have enough scars to last me a lifetime.
hmm i missed the chinese exam last week due to the science fair. now i'll have to do with without the help of my classmates. this sucks.

day 2 of science fair. IT WAS BORING AS HELL. the tour (that i paid 20 bucks for mind you) was only 20 minutes long. and it was BORING BORING BORING. last year, i got to bring home a carnivorous plant. i even got to touch venus fly traps and disect them! urrrghhh i hate this tour

i was watching a tv documentary about polygamy today. its simply disgusting! usually,the stepmothers are younger than their step daughters. european cultures also allow polygamy. right now, if a person married more than one person at a time, it would be considered OUTRAGOUS. even kissing someone while dating someone else is called cheating now. imagine the reactions of polygamy in the present world!

did u noe that french has 17 tenses? i think 3 tenses is enough for any language. actually, chinese has only 1. they just add "long ago" or "a few days ago" or "hours ago" or "a few days later" or "right now" or "20 years in the future" in front of sentences that they want to express a feeling of the past or future. wish every language was like that. but nooooooooo theres the passe, the inparfait, the futur proche, the futur simple, present (but this is crucial) and 12 others that i dont noe of.

i came to canada on april 8th, 2000. it's so, ive been in canada (and the US...for a around 4 weeks) for 7 years and 360 days. wow thats a lot of time.
did u noe that admiral horatio nelson had an affair with a woman that's not his wife and conceived a child with her? she became his mistress. actually, this woman that he had an affair with had a spouse too, and this husband of hers incouraged their affair. weird...i didnt think england would tolerated this kind of thing in the 1800's.

WE WENT SHOPPING TODAY!! FOR THE WHOLE WHOLE WHOLE DAY!!!!!
we bought shampoo, cream, and most importantly, CLOTHES.
5 tanktops, 2 pants, 1 t-shirt, 1 hoodie, and 1 half-a-shirt-that-ties-up-in-the-front-thingy. :D
and we went out to eat.
and i finished FINISHED my decision #1 powerpoint. now, all i'll have to do is prepare a presentation. not much of a problem. i'll have to spend hours in the car anyways. i dont need a computer to prepare for a presentation.
well, the powerpoint itself was finished within 30 minutes, so...i actually didnt spend much time on it.
OOH I forgot to mention that i took STICKY PICS!!! this is my fist time. we wasted 26dollars on it. the last one sucked tho. it didnt give us enough time to decorate it. i'll post some pictures up sometime.

went to six flags today instead of disneyland. i can say now that i regret it. I SPENT ALMOST ALL MY TIME WAITING FOR MY RIDE! i also put my purse in the wrong locker. acter i closed the locker, i forgot the number immediately, resulting in my coming back to six flags at 10:30 PM to get it from the lost and found. oh by the way, i went on a total of FOUR RIDES! how nice!!! NOT.
and after six flags, we went shopping. abercrombie & fitch, hollister, then aropostle. i most admit, clothes here are a lot nicer. i bought one shirt each from abercrombie and hollister, then i bought 6 pieces of clothing from aropostle. donno if i spelled that right. but the clothes are nice.

i arrived in los angeles and went to hearst castle today!!!
everything was cool. cool day. loved the shorelines. THE SEA WAS SOOOO BLUE!!! sky too. u could see the border between the sky and the sea.
hearst castle was nice too. mr william randolf hearst was unbelieveably rich. rich people are awesome.
and right now, im in my friend (runie)'s home in los angeles, writing this blog. gotta go!! its gonna be a long day tmw. im going to four-flags instead of disneyland by the way. i think disneyland is too kiddy for me now...

MR OLSON, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I'LL EVER FINISH THE DECISION 1 PROJECT!! im gonna be vacationing all throughout spring break, so i wont really be able to do anything. actually, i only have 10 minutes each day to do my blog, then i have to go to sleep. im dying away in the car day by day.
oh we arrived in san francisco today. we went to the twin peaks, this great arts and sciences roman-looking building, and BERKELEY!! it was very nice. the architecture -- absolutely gorgeous.
i guess that doesnt sound like im dying away now, right?

i was crossing my fingers and toes in the car for a whole hour before i got to call anne. i gave her permission to open my pre-IB letter. karen, anne, and i all got in!!! whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopee!!!
oh im halfway across oregon right now. despite the "no tax" rule in oregon, everything is still quite expensive. i mean, the made up for the tax by making the food extra-expensive.

there was a strict and good-looking strings substitute today. he conducted really well. and i mean REALLY WELL. better than mr hill. its not that he's good-looking that im giving him credit. its just that he believes in sincerety for music. i like that. music is good. correction: classical music is good, rap is not. oh wait, i dont consider rap music. i really wish rap doesnt exist. rock and pop is okay, but rap is just vile. no offense, rap-loving people. i just dont belong in ur group.

my mom just got the idea to leave on friday morning instead of saturday. i sorta wanna leave on friday, sorta not. actually, i REALLY want to see my pre-ib letter, rather than somebody read it to me. i got permission to anne to keep my letter.

my mom bought me earings with an angel imprinted on it. and its actually quite HEAVY. sry sry sry mom, they look...weird. im wearning them to humour her. i mean, angels made of metal?? they're around 3 cm long. thats VERY long. ahhh well...humouring her is what counts.

IM GETTING GETTING GETTING A NEEEEEW PIANO!!! WHOOOOT!!! its a yamaha, 14 years old (like me), black, and has this thing that opens up in the front to let more sound come out. oh and its a UX model, which means the back has a cross-like shape, not straight wooden beams. this focuses the sound together more and makes the piano nicer. :D:D i love my soon-to-be-new-piano :D

huumph i hate PE. mrs blake gave annie and me a 0 on our orienteering course because we forgot to put our names onto the sheet. i really think that's unfair. MRS BLAKE - I THINK YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR TEACHING HABITS!
other than that, my day was pretty much normal.
i embarassed myself to death during the french presentation. when i said "temps libre", i sort of flung my arms and legs up, to symbolize freedom. unfortunately, it ended up looking like a silly whhheeee action that a little kid would do.

actually i DO noe why. i got an A in PE...but with a B in english. usually, its the other way around. i would feel a lot better if i got what i got in first term. but this time I HAD TO GET AN A IN PE!! I COULD'VE GOTTEN STRAIGHT A'S--PRINCIPAL'S LIST. only i cant..cuz im missing 0.6% in english. THIS IS THE WORST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED TO ME!!!
tho maybe my bad luck sticks in right now and my good luck sticks in at the first week of april. maybe...if i have my bad luck now, my good luck will propell me to the canada wide science fair...just maybe. or it will propell me to 100 dollar's worth of reward for my environmentally enthusiastic presentation about water striders.

ooh guess what? u noe the speakers that come with the big old fat computer monitors? my dad took those, plugged them into this device...then he toke my mp3 player and plugged it into the speakers. now, i can listen to my mp3 player without the earphones in the car and beside my bed :D isnt that convenient?

Monday, February 18th, 2008 was one of the best days of my life. It was the most fun I’d had in a long time. The whole Middle Years went snowshoeing and tubing on Cypress Mountain. Although the snowshoeing was extremely tiring, I enjoyed tubing very much.
Ms Hu drove Karen and me to Cypress Mountain. On the way there, Karen and I listened to a book called Eclipse, by Stephanie Meyer. We were so quiet, I wondered if Ms Hu thought we were the kind of friends that sit in silence and contemplate in our own thoughts. One of the funny things I noticed was that there was a car license plate that said “YAYA-EB”, and another one that had the letters “AWW” on it.
Once we arrived at Cypress, we put on snowshoes and started snowshoeing. There was an especially treacherous hill not far from where we started. I struggled and wriggled my way up, finally reaching the top to be greeted by the sight of cumulus clouds below me.
The rest of the snowshoeing trail was fairly flat. There were many piles of snow that I was able to slide down, causing the twisting of my right ankle thrice. Fortunately, the twists weren’t severe, so I was able to control my limp.
The most fun part of the field trip was the tubing. There were 4 tubing tracks, each around 400 m long and 75 m wide. It was the first time I went tubing, and I was one of the most exciting things I’d ever done. At first, I attached myself with Karen, Anne, and Jessica when I went down the tube to increase the momentum when we slid down. After a few rides, we had a large Middle Years group sliding down together. I joined them, and in the end, we had 17 people sliding down together. There was 3 more large-group tubing that day, one of which included 25 people.
Although I had a math contest the next day and a surprise Langara run, as well as a science test and a socials test the day after, it was one of my most memorable weeks. I heard that there is going to be a camping trip later on in the year – I hope it would be just as enjoyable.

this suuuuuuuuucks!!! monday was the BEST DAY EVER and tuesday (today) is one of the worst days i had in my life. we got a surprise LANGARA RUN and a math contest today. URRRGGGHHHHH
and TOMORROW, GUESS WHAT? WE HAVE A SCIENCE AND SOCIALS TEST!! MY HEAD IS GOING TO BLOW RIGHT OFF! im sure it has already blown off...
I WANT TO WATCH A MOVIE, RIGHT AFTER THIS. we still havent celebrated karen's birthday. how about a nice movie called sweeney todd with some food? that would be nice.

Geez this is sad. on saturday, sunday, and today, ive played 1 and a half hours of piano. i think the time i spend playing the piano is going to increase day by day. i feel a little sad. somehow, i have this overwhelming feeling to try to get over 85% on my exam. i dont know why! i practice and practice...quite HARD. aargh. actually, i think i noe why i wanna get over 85%. its cuz my teacher always gushes about her student (who is male) that got exactly 85% and did this and that. aargh. IM GOING TO GET HIGHER THAN THAT ANONOMOUS POMPOUS BOY, YOU'LL SEE!

WHOO HOO!! last blog was my 444th, starting from last year second term. wow, ive blogged for a long time.
well, today, i got my pascals contest practice sheet, and every average thing u would get on a day 1. science fair need to be handed in tmw!! despite the fact that ive been finished for 3 days already, i dont feel stable with what ive written.
i was watching ppl trying to flip themselves over the shorter one of the uneven bars. THEY WERE DOING IT THOUSANDS OF TIME BUT STILL WERENT GETTING IT RIGHT. heh. i was standing in the corner, my heart secretly laughing. AHAHAHAHAHA. especially the guy whose name looks like this: T _ A _ U S _ N. noe who it is? when he ran up to the bar and tried to get on it, the bar basically buried itself in his stomach. IT WAS HILARIOUS! hahaha

Koyannisquatsi

Koyaanisquatsi is what would be considered an extremely different and unique movie, with its lack of dialogue, characters, plot, and all the other elements that make up the average movie. Many would think this movie has no point to it, that it is just a bunch of scenery accompanied by random music. However, in my opinion, it expresses an element that most movies try to point towards: a theme or moral.
In the first few pictures, it shows red mountainous settings, with the blazing sun heating it all up. Then, it shows a lot of natural, beautiful scenery with rives and lakes. This shows the earth as it was, without humans.
Then, the movie shows many poor people sitting on the street, dirty and hungry. This shows that people have become miserable as they come into being. Soon after this, there were lots of explosions, including the mushroom cloud of a nuclear bomb. This shows the humans destroying the nature that we grew up in. Then, we see houses and building being brought down by explosives, crumbling one after another. This is where we realize that our destroying the nature also results in sacrificing our own achievements.
Then we see crowds in train stations, horse races, showing all the overpopulation of the world. We are destroying Earth every second we live on this planet. In conclusion, this movie is about how the world strikes back when we attack it, in its own feeble ways. However, we have grown so powerful that nature cannot undo us. Therefore, we ourselves must amend for our mistakes

i played lotsa piano today. with lotsa tv watching since i got by cable back today. haha, im using "lotsa"...actually, i think it sounds back. im going back to lots of.
i watched today: and episode of CSI: Miami and So You Think You Can Dance, as well as Pride and Prejudice (2005). it was good. actually, in total, i watched 4.5 hours of tv today. wooah thats a lot.

WHOO HOO ... actually, i finished everything but the title. well, there's the summary to consider, but i really think there's not much to do after this. i think my board's a little cramped tho. not as much as last year's first board, but definately much more cramped than my second board. should've lessened on the text. actually, i really dont have that much text. theres 6 graphs in total, and i cant stick them together like i did last year.

i think im really making progress with my science fair project. ive finished the background for my board already!! now, all i have to do is my summary, which would prob take an hour at the most..
im feeling extremely productive. so far, i have finished 3 tuques, all my science homework, 3/4ths of my science fair, and...i got my parents to sign al lthe forms! oh and therse no chinese school this week yay :D
once again, in this blog entry, i shall claim my love to chopin. this time, i shall have u listen is nocturne in e flat major. its so beautiful, no words can describe it. when i listen to it, i feel like i need to cry, tho i think its more like a love song. actually, i dont noe, but it sounds soo...heart-felt. again, i love this song like no pop/rock/jazz/rap/techno/blues/etc. song.

Oh no oh no!! i didnt duplicate my experiment. actually, i was aware that i had to do my experiment at least 4 times to be accurate, but i didnt have enough time. i mean, why would i spend 120 hours on just doing the experiment alone? i cant do that!! but it seems im gonna loose marks for it. :'(
i wonder what jessica is doing for her experiment? she was going to do surface tension at first, but she said she'll change it. i havent heard about what she is changing it to, so im worried that she'll stick with surface tension.
one good thing about today is that i finished my whole writeup!! now i need to edit. extensively edit the information that doesn't make sense. aargh. and i need to do my board. my mom has be extremely mad at me today cuz i pronounced that i hated chinese but was forced to take it. i really didnt mean that, but they were forcing me to memorize all these words that take hours to fully understand. and another reason is that i keep on playing a song on the piano that my teacher didnt assign me. they said, sure, i could play the piano, but play the songs that the teacher is teaching me, cuz they have to pay her 40 dollars a week. I MEAN, COME ON, why cant i play a song that i enjoy/am not sick of?? oh by the way, the song is fantasie impromptu, composed by chopin. I LOVE CHOPIN. I REALLY WISH I CAN TAKE 30 YEARS OFF BACH'S LIFE AND GIVE IT TO HIM. but fantasie impromptu really is quite hard. but the harder it is, the nicer it sounds to me. cuz its challenging and fast :D:D u should try listening to it. oh by the way, i love li yundi's playing too. it just so happens that i love chopin a bit more. he composed the music; li yundi is only the messenger that sends the message out better than others. u can think of it this way: chopin is the writer, li yundi is the reader. even if the reader reads EXTREMELY well, without the writer, the reader is nothing.

its 1:20 now. im planning to start playing the piano at 4 oclock. that would give me 3 hours to practice. that would make up for the fact i went shopping for clothes yesterday instead of playing the piano and coming back from that stupid IB exam on wednesday and being too tired to play the piano. actually YOU KNOW WHAT? im calling my mom. too tired.

whoo hoooo short day today. 1 hour longer to do whatever i like. actually, i did joyce's experiment at lunch today. onions dont make me cry. they made me cry 0.02g of tears. ..hmm
my science fair mess has already started. i would have to bear with this mess for another 1 1/2 then its over. OVER i tell u. OVER OVER OVER OVER OVER. well, not completely over. if i get into pre-IB next year, i would have one more time of messy craziness that comes with science fair. actually, i endured...1, 2, 3, FOUR of these huge stressing messes so far in my life. 1 heritage fair, 2 science fairs (grade 7 and 8), and 1 science celebration.

whooah. pro-d day on friday. pro-d day = science fair catchup day.
actually it also means piano catch up day too, but science fair is a TINY BIT more important right now. piano's equally important in my mind, but school comes before piano. tho i sometimes would like piano to come first. SOMETIMES. most of the time, im glad school comes first.
i think im liking the piano more and more everyday. i dont noe why. the piano's been in my life for 10 years (A DECADE!!) and i have never liked it as much as i do now. only i probably wont grow up to become a pianist.

oh guess what? ive finished my pre-IB application! it wasnt hard. applying to middle years took so much more work. actually, i think i had a weakness for perfection back in grade 7 (CUZ I HAD TIME), but now, i dont think i care much anymore. sure, if something looks extremely out of place, i'd have to change it, but if its miniscule, why bother? no one's gonna notice anyways.
anyways, theres gonna be a snow-shoeing / tubing field trip coming up. im so excited! actually, its around 3 weeks away, but we havent had a field trip for a while. ...i need to buy waterproof pants. donno where to get them tho.

and i have some questions for ms hu. i remember she wrote tetroxide on one of her worksheets, but from her instructions, it should be tetraoxide. hmm...and for the bohr diagrams, it seems to me that it is very tedius to draw 3 of the same oxygen atoms to for LiClO3... (3 is supposed to be in subscript by the way, but since im typing in this blog, not microsoft word, i cant make it look like a subscript).
i dont noe why im studying so hard. this test is supposed to be out of only 53. and its supposed to be EASY.

ARGGGH!!! only a week into school from the holidays, and the work pile is mounting again. SCIENCE FAIR IS DUE IN LESS THAN A MONTH, the IB applications are due in 2 weeks, theres a SCIENCE TEST on monday...piano every week...etc.
SOOO VERY FRUSTRATING. i really hope for all this to end so that i can go back to my regular SUMMER life.
i have no idea how to analyse my findings in my science fair tho...i mean, when in the world would 2% of natural water be made of detergent or sulphuric acid?? its just not quite possible. if its 2% sulphuric acid, most of the fish would be dead. by the way, 2% sulphuric acid in water = 0.02 moles = pH 1.7-something (which is very acidic).

i went to watch the info night for IB and pre-IB tonight. IT WAS SOO INTIMIDATING!! REALLY! they made it sound so scary...
but of course, im still gonna apply. no matter how scary it sounds, im gonna apply.
thers gonna be a snow-shoeing & tubbing trip soon!!! right after science fair. i feel happy =D...i wonder if there'll be camp at the end of this year?

oooh i love chopin's songs. wish he didnt die so early. :'( i've always felt sad he died at the age of 38. i wish bach could trade 30 years of his life for chopin's. i dont like bach much anyways. his music is so...not beautiful. theres no feeling, only technical stuff, in my opinion. i love chopin <3
its quite amazing that i started to play chopin's songs last summer (august 2007), but my mom still doesn't know ican play his songs yet. she got a big surprise when i told her i can play 4 extremely well and another 4 not-so-well. i mean, they are sorta hard and all, but they do sound very nice, if i must say so myself. my favourite so far - Nocturne #20 in C# Minor. its beautiful...so elegant. then comes waltz in e minor. love that one too, tho playing with a lot of force on the piano is necessary for this piece. my fingers hurt for a while after i play this song. ><

oh MY GOD. theres a science quiz on monday. gonna study through math tmw. i dont think i'll have to take the test, since i got 19.5/20 last quiz. mr stuart said that the ppl who got perfect or 19.5/20 do no have to take the test cuz its obvious they already know what they're doing, thus making it tedious to make them take the test again. he'll just automatically assume that i would've gotten perfect on the test he's going to give the other kids. whooooooooooooo i can study or do whatever i like during that time.
also, on thursday, theres gonna be a basketball game on blocks A and B, so i can stay in a study. or i might go. i donno. but i really would like some extra time to study. i think all this studying is cutting me off from my socials life, not that ive been social in the first place, but it prevents me from doing a lot of extra things ex. reading interesting wikipedia articles for fun. i wont have anything to talk about but homework to my friends, and that makes it extremely boring. ahh w/e, we still find interesting gossip to analyse.
ooh i forgot. gotta send this to mr olson.

first day of school after winter break today...and I HAVE NO HOMEWORK!!! WHOOOO!!
tho science fair is really creeping up on me....arrgh
i think im going to complain in every one of my blogs until february 4th. then i would be as happy as a duckling, only to be burdened by the fact that i have a piano exam soon after. aargh
but my parents want to go somewhere during spring break. that's good.
